If you are a woman looking to make extra money in 2022, you have lots of options. In this article I want to highlight some of my favorites. Keep in mind that most of these will take hard work and a commitment if you are truly going to see the money start flowing. But as women, we are designed to hustle and multitask in our everyday lives, so these side hustles should come easy.
I have personally tried most of these in the list, but there are a few that I gravitated towards and found that I was able to make a full time income with (not just a side hustle). Hint: check out Number 4 and Number 7.
1. Online Teaching/Course Creation
If you have a specific skill or knowledge base, there is a fantastic opportunity to make money by teaching others what you know. You can do this online at websites like teachable.com where you can create online courses.
Maybe you know how to fly a drone, or make beautiful pottery. Whatever your skill, you can get paid to teach others. There are customizable tools and easy to launch courses that you can easily create.
2. Photographer
Do you take great photos that are worthy of framing? If so, you might be interested in becoming a photographer and making money by offering to take pictures of weddings, graduations, and other events. People are always looking for someone to capture their moments and if you have a good eye, you can make a decent income as a photographer. 
Not only can you take pictures of events, but you can also make money by selling stock photos that you have taken over the years. Places like Shutterstock offer you the ability to sell your photos to those who need stock photos.
Shutterstock is one of the leading stock photography websites out there, but there are a ton of other websites where you can list your photos as well. The great thing is that one photo can make you money over and over again.
3. Survey Taker
While taking surveys can be a time-consuming and low paying task, it is one of the easiest side hustles around. All you need is a little time and a computer.
Honestly, I would suggest you stick to the tried and true websites and make a little side income in your spare time. There are 3 survey sites that I've been using for years that make me extra money every month. They payout easily and it's not hard to earn $100 a month.
- Inbox Dollars – The payout has recently been lowered to $10 minimum which doesn't take long to get to.
- Swagbucks – Been around forever and has great earning potential
- Paid Viewpoint – This one is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE… Minimum payout is $5
4. Blogger
If you are good at writing and have something that you are passionate about, blogging is a great way to make money. Creating a blog is not hard at all and this is actually how I started making a full time living online. I was interested in camping and decided to start a website/blog to record my adventures.
Now I'm able to travel and enjoy the freedom that comes along with being my own boss and I get to express myself and my love for camping all at the same time.
Getting started with a blog is relatively easy, however I suggest that you take the time to learn what strategies to implement in order to become successful and start earning real income. My number 1 recommendation is an education platform where I first learned how to make money with blogging. I still use it to this day, because the training is constantly evolving and it's the best way to keep up with the changing online environment.
5. Food Delivery
Remember when pizza was about the only food you could get delivered right to your door? Well now you can order just about anything and have it at your doorstep in minutes, thanks to services like UberEats and DoorDash.
But not only can you get the food you want delivered, you can make money as a food delivery driver. This is a perfect side hustle for anyone who wants to work on their own time. For instance, if you have kids in school, you can use that time while they are away to make some extra money delivering food.
6. Bitcoin/Stock Investing
Investing in the stock market used to be a complicated and daunting task for most people. But now you can make your money work for you with investing platforms like Robinhood and Webull.
I personally use Robinhood because it is one of the easiest platforms to navigate and use on the go. You can trade stocks like Ford, Walmart, or Nike. And they are constantly adding cryptocurrencies to their tradable lists as well. So if you are more into trading Bitcoin or the like, platforms like Robinhood make it easy.
I also use Coinbase for most of my longer holds in the Bitcoin market. Within Coinbase you can buy and sell hundreds of Cryptocurrencies and they even have staking options as well.
7. Affiliate Marketer
Affiliate Marketing is one of the best ways of making income online today. Essentially it involves promoting products to others and receiving a commission when people purchase. The great thing about being an affiliate marketer is that you don't have any overhead or inventory to keep up with. And you don't have to worry about manufacturing or shipping products. The companies you are affiliated with will handle all of that.
Here's an example of how affiliate marketing works: Let's say you enjoy camping on the weekends with your family. You happen to use a tent that you think other people might also like. By promoting that particular tent to others via a web blog or a social media account, you can earn a 30% commission from the company that makes that tent when someone clicks on your affiliate link and purchases it.
You didn't have to ship the tent or make the tent but you earn a commission each time someone purchases it based on your recommendation. How easy is that?
I use my blog (it's a camping blog by the way) to make a full time income online with affiliate marketing. I get to do and talk about something that I enjoy and make money at the same time.

8. Ride Share Driver
Everyone has heard of Uber and how it is the modern day taxi option. If you have a reliable vehicle and are willing to chauffeur people around town, you can make quite a bit of money as a ride share driver.
There are other options besides Uber of course…. like Lyft, Gett, and others. I have several friends who really enjoy the Uber life and have made a great side income driving people around.
Once again, this is a side hustle that allows you to work on your own time, so it is a good option for those who have other obligations or jobs. Just work when you have the time.
9. Sell Crafts Online
If you are good at making things or crafty in any way, there is a great side hustle for selling homemade items online. Places like Etsy and Shopify let you sell your handmade products online to people all over the world.
Maybe you can engrave custom gifts for people for their special anniversaries or events. Or maybe you have a knack for making things with wood. People are always looking for unique, custom gifts or items and if you are creative like that, you can make a very good living.
10. Storage Rental Host
This one is a bit different, but honestly I think that a lot of people could use this particular service. If you have extra space in your home or garage and you would be willing to rent it out to someone, you can make a monthly recurring income.
Neighbor.com is a place where you can offer your extra large closet or unused storage shed to those who just need a little extra storage. Basically you can turn the space you already have into cash.
I wish I would have known about this when I was looking for a place to store my son's classic car project that was taking up space in my garage while he was in college.
