Wealthy Affiliate Review – Life Changing Income Potential

You might have seen a review on Wealthy Affiliate before and still wonder if it is legit or just another scam.  Hopefully in this honest review, you will come away knowing exactly what Wealthy Affiliate is all about and how it can help you build a full time income of your own.

This popular training program is on fire right now, because of the desire for most people to work from home and take charge of their financial future instead of relying on the traditional 9-5 business model.

So whether you are new to the concept of affiliate marketing or you are just trying to learn more and scale your current affiliate business, you will definitely benefit from this particular review.

You see, I have been a member of Wealthy Affiliate since 2013 and I am here to tell you the in's and out's of not only what the program offers, but also how it has changed my life.

This is my HONEST opinion and take on Wealthy Affiliate:

While I have been with Wealthy Affiliate for almost 10 years now, I remember when I first discovered the program like it was yesterday.  I'll talk more about that later.

But overall, I have stayed with Wealthy Affiliate for one very strong reason…. It WORKS!  If it didn't, I would not be a member today.

First of all, let's take a look at who is this program for?

This program is designed to take the most beginner of beginners and walk them step by step through the process of making money with affiliate marketing.  It is for students, single moms, single dads, parents, military member, retirees, etc, etc.  Basically anyone who is looking for a way to  either suppliment their income or build their own wealth and work from home.

Take me for instance…

• I was a single mom of 2 young kids when I started affiliate marketing
• I followed the training and built several niche websites that make me money even while I sleep.
• I am currently putting my youngest son through college and paying for his gas (he drives a diesel pickup… don't get me started on gas prices).

So who is this NOT for?

This program is extremely in-depth and takes hard work.  Most of the people who struggle or simply don't succeed with WA are those that don't have the drive or motivation to truly change their life.  Someone looking for an easy way or get rich quick plan is not going to put in the work that is required or they might just quit too soon.

My Personal Story with Wealthy Affiliate:

Like I mentioned earlier, I've been a member of WA for almost 10 years now.  I remember signing up for the free starter membership and telling myself I would give it a shot.

I don't really know what I was expecting, but I immediately realized that this was no ordinary training program.  I started to get really excited and I could tell that this was going to be a journey that could honestly lead me to finally making a real full time income online.

I was a single mother, who was desperately in need of a second source of income.  I wanted to stay home with my kids, as they were still pretty young.  The opportunity that Wealthy Affiliate provided me was life changing.

I started to go through the training and with each class, I gained more and more enthusiasm and energy.  I was eager to learn as much as I could about this affiliate marketing thing, and I really liked the sound of turning my passion into income.

The more I learned, the more I knew I had stumbled upon something that would change my life… and it did!  After building my own website and applying the training that I was learning, I became less anxious about my future and how I would care for my children.  I could see such amazing potential in this business model and I was beyond pumped.

I remember sitting on a beach while on vacation and getting my very first commission from affiliate marketing.  This is when it hit me! Making a full time passive income online was truly possible and I was actually doing it.

 

 

 

 

What to Expect within Wealthy Affiliate – What will you be learning?

In order to outline the 3 primary training courses in this program, I've touched on the key components below:

1.  The Online Entrepreneur Certification Course (OEC)

This course teaches you how to create a profitable website blog that focuses around a particular passion you have.  For instance, maybe you are a fan of rock climbing.  In this course, you would learn how to build a “rock climbing” website/blog that would allow you to talk about your love of the sport while incorporating affiliate marketing methods and thus earning income (via commissions).

Wealthy Affiliate teaches you how to create product reviews, drive visitors to your site, and then make money thru affiliate links.  Each course has about 10 lessons, and there are tasks for you to do at the end.  This is extremely helpful because it gets you to be hands-on and implement the steps they just taught.

2.  Affiliate Bootcamp

Affiliate Bootcamp is a course that is specifically designed to help you become and affiliate for Wealthy Affiliate.  It is a more specific course because the topic is already built in.  So even if you don't have any idea what your passion is or you just can't decide, you can benefit from the bootcamp and promote WA while you learn the basic affiliate marketing skills.

There are actually 7 courses (called phases) in the bootcamp and each phase has 10 lessons.  Once again, the lessons are full of incredible step by step training and comprehensive strategies.

While this bootcamp is designed to help you learn how to promote Wealthy Affiliate, it is easily adaptable to other programs that are equally as robust in their training and support. For instance, I also promote Legendary Marketer and other platforms that are supplements to my affiliate marketing toolbag.  I believe in getting training and education from many sources.

 

3. Local Marketing Training

This training focuses on teaching you how to connect with local businesses and help them market their business online.  For instance, the local bakery near your neighborhood doesn't have an online presence…. this training can teach you how to contact them, offer your services, build them a website or social media, and give them more business.

You would be surprised how many local businesses don't have a website or even know how to market themselves on social media.  This day and age, a business will fail if it is only relying on foot traffic to bring in business.  Most people do their shopping and ordering online much more than visiting brick and mortar stores.

With the skills that you learn in this type of training, you can offer your services to a wide variety of local businesses that are more than willing to pay you to do something they don't have time to do.

My Final Opinion/Thoughts on Wealthy Affiliate:

I don't know where I would be if I had not found Wealthy Affiliate 9 years ago.  I would probably be back in an office as an accountant and wondering if I made the right decision.

After the first lesson in the OEC course, I KNEW this was going to help me build a full time income and be able to take care of myself and my children. If I didn't believe in this training program, I wouldn't recommend it to you… but I have seen success personally and I've witnessed so many others within the community who are crushing it and following their dreams.

If you want to become financially free and be your own boss, this program is priceless.  The fact that you can check it out for free and see what it is all about is awesome in my opinion.  It didn't take much to convince me that investing in the educational platform like Wealthy Affiliate would be the foundation I needed to stop struggling and actually make money online.
